Noctis Domini 2023 - Il Carnevale dei Dannati

NOCTIS DOMINI 2023 - SETTIMA EDIZIONE Tema di quest'anno: "Il Carnevale dei Dannati".

Nei tempi antichi a Carnevale ci si mascherava invitando le anime dei morti a entrare nei propri corpi per dare loro la possibilità di fare baldoria in cambio di abbondanti raccolti. In altri la maschera era un modo per eliminare le disuguaglianze: le gerarchie venivano sostituite col rovesciamento dell'ordine, lo scherzo e la dissolutezza. Lilith, madre di tutte le creature oscure, le chiama a sé, dietro a maschere ed eleganti costumi, così che possano aggirarsi indisturbate nei vicoli della città e adescare le anime perse, arruolandole nell'esercito dei Dannati. Starà a un ridotto ma determinato gruppo di ribelli difendere la città e l'anima delle persone che amano, fronteggiando con valore le Ombre. E tu da che parte starai? Nasconderai la tia oscurità sotto un'elegante maschera o la calerai per combattere per il bene?

Siamo giunti alla settimana edizione di un evento che sta diventando fra i più amati e attesi dell'anno, complici l'originalità e il fatto di poter trovare ogni anno qualcosa di diverso. Quest'anno avremo con noi anche le consorelle del progetto autrici-illustratrici dark, gotico e horror COVEN RIUNITO per presentare le loro iniziative; PROGRAMMA IN AGGIORNAMENTO: DALLE ORE 15.00 fino a fine evento in Piazza Trento Trieste artigianato gotico, steampunk, alternativo, lettura dei tarocchi, idromele e ippocrasso, birra artigianale; DALLE ORE 16.00 circa in Piazza Trento Trieste gli Evequartett in concerto - i cult del rock e del metal rivisitati con gli archi; ORE 18.30: partenza da Piazza Trento Trieste del Corteo Steampunk e cacciatori Noctis; Ore 20.00 circa in Piazza Trento Trieste esibizione di danza; NOCTIS DOMINI, IL CARNEVALE DEI DANNATI ORE 21.00 ritrovo in Piazza Trento Trieste per prepararsi a partire col fulcro dell'evento ITINERANTE che si svolgerà nelle vie del centro storico di Ferrara con accompagnamento musicale, scontri fra le creature oscure e i cacciatori, esibizioni di danza e spettacoli di giochi di luce, led e fuoco con Gionata Feuer Frei e Frappy.

Ci teniamo ad avere espositori BEN SELEZIONATI e con un BUON ALLESTIMENTO, principalmente ARTIGIANI. OK VAMPIRI, STREGHE, STREGONI, LICANTROPI, DEMONI che possano essere contestualizzati nell'evento (NON SONO GRADITI DA SEMPRE GLI SBRODOLAMENTI DI SANGUE)

Per le creature oscure non occorrono le candidature, l'importante è rispettare il dresscode ELEGANTE gotico, vittoriano e steamgoth, o per quest'anno in linea con un Carnevale di Venezia ma in tinte oscure.

DRESSCODE Pensate di essere al Carnevale di Venezia, ma pensate a un carnevale Oscuro. Preparate la maschera che parli del vostro demone. Sempre bene accetti il gotico RIGOROSAMENTE elegante e il vittoriano.

Subject of this year:

"Carnival of the Damned”

In ancient times, during Carnival, people wore masks, inviting the souls of the deads to enter their bodies to allow them to revel in exchange of rich harvests.

In others, masks were a way to eliminate inequalities: hierarchies were replaced with the overthrow of order, jokes and debauchery.

Lilith, mother of all dark creatures, calls them to her, behind masks and elegant costumes, so that they can wander undisturbed through the alleys of the city and lure lost souls, enlisting them in the Army of the Damned.

A little but determined group of rebels will have to defend the city and the soul of the ones they love, facing with bravery the Shadows.

What side will you join? Will you hide your darkness behind an elegant mask or will you take it off to fight for the good?

This is the seventh edition of an event that is becoming one of the most loved and waited of the year, for its originality and because you’mall always find something different every year.

This year we’ll host the authors and illustrators sisters of the dark, gothic and horror project COVEN RIUNITO to introduce their initiatives.

PROGRAM UPDATED:

FROM 4 PM in Piazza Trento Trieste, Evequartett in live concert - rock and metal cult songs revisited with strings;

6.30 PM: from Piazza Trento Trieste Steampunk parade & Noctis Hunters;

8.00 PM in Piazza Trento Trieste square dance performance;

9.00 PM gathering in Piazza Trento Trieste to get ready to start with the core of the ITINERANT event which will take place in the streets of the historic center of Ferrara with musical accompaniment, clashes between dark creatures and hunters, dance performances and light shows, LED and fire games with Gionata Feuer Frei and Frappy.
